Paragliding Development and Popularization Association – Xcaucasus" Our organization is a union of industry experts dedicated to the comprehensive development of paragliding in Georgia. Our activities are built upon three core pillars: professional service, sporting development, and high safety standards. 1. Tandem Paragliding as a Profession and Commercial Activity Our goal is to establish the tandem pilot’s work as an independent, highly qualified, and respected profession. Professionalism: Tandem flight is a high-responsibility profession that requires specialized training, technical expertise, and a professional code of ethics in customer relations. Economic Independence: We uphold the freedom of entrepreneurship. The commercial activity conducted in this sector is based on legality, passenger insurance, and fair competition, making paragliding an integral and profitable part of the country’s tourism industry. 2. The Sporting Dimension: More Than Just Tourism We do not limit paragliding to tourism services alone; our mission is to deepen the roots of sporting culture. Development: We facilitate the organization of competitions, sporting championships, and active flying circuits. Sporting Skills: We focus on refining the acrobatic, navigational, and flight skills of our pilots, which distinguishes a professional pilot from an amateur. Integration: Our members actively participate in sporting events, thereby elevating the prestige of Georgian paragliding on the international stage. 3. Safety: Our Primary Priority Safety is not merely a recommendation; it is the non-negotiable foundation of our operations. Standard Compliance: Our instructors operate in accordance with strict safety protocols, which eliminates negligence in flight activities. Continuous Monitoring: Safety is maintained through rigorous checks of technical equipment, evaluation of meteorological conditions, and ongoing pilot training. Risk Management: Our approach to safety is based on international (ICAO/APPI) best practices, which minimizes risks during both tandem flights and sporting activities. Our Position: As a non-commercial legal entity, our mission is to strengthen the industry.
