Tandem flights start from $90 (₾250) depending on location. Gudauri ranges $130-220, Ananuri $150-260. Price includes the flight, equipment and instructor.
Some companies include video/photo in the price, while others offer it as an add-on ($20-55). Check what's included when you book.
Some companies offer reduced prices for children under 12. Group discounts (3+ people) are also commonly available.
Payment is made on-site, directly to the operator (cash or as agreed). There is no online or card payment and no prepayment — you book online and pay when you arrive for your flight.
Yes, you can cancel. Since payment is on-site, you pay nothing in advance; if the weather is bad, rescheduling or a refund of any money already paid is free, and otherwise the terms depend on the operator's policy.
Yes, tandem paragliding is very safe with certified pilots. All pilots on xparagliding.com are verified with valid certifications. Equipment is regularly inspected and maintained.
Pilots never fly in unsafe conditions. Your flight is simply rescheduled for free, or you get a full refund of any money paid.
Insurance depends on the operator — some companies offer basic coverage, others do not, so confirm in advance. We recommend arranging your own travel insurance as well, especially for international visitors.
EN/LTF-certified paragliders, reserve parachutes, helmets, and body harnesses. All equipment undergoes regular safety inspections.
Choose a location on xparagliding.com, select a pilot or company, pick your date and time, and submit your booking request. You will receive a confirmation, and payment is made on-site on the day of your flight.
We recommend booking at least 1 day ahead. During peak season (June-September), 3-5 days in advance is ideal. Same-day bookings are sometimes possible.

The best season is May through October. Peak conditions are June-September with strong thermals and stable weather. Winter flying is possible in Gudauri.
Tandem flights typically last 15-30 minutes depending on weather conditions, thermal activity and the chosen package.
Yes — Tbilisi, Gudauri and Mestia offer winter flying when conditions permit. Ananuri is usually unavailable in winter due to wind and snow.
Tbilisi, Rustavi, Gudauri and Mestia are ideal for beginners — wide open spaces, stable weather and altitudes up to about 2,200m. Kazbegi is also excellent for valley flying.
Gudauri 2,200-3,000m and Kazbegi 1,750-2,500m above sea level, while Tbilisi and Rustavi launch from about 750m. Flights run from the mountain top down to the valley landing zone.
No experience is needed for tandem flights. The pilot controls everything — you just enjoy the views and the thrill.
Minimum age is usually 7-12 years (varies by company). There is no upper age limit — we have had flyers aged 70+.
Typically 30–120 kg (66–264 lbs), though this is provider-dependent — confirm the exact limit with the operator. If you weigh over 120 kg, contact the company in advance to arrange specialized equipment.
Comfortable athletic clothes and closed-toe shoes. Bring a warm jacket (it is cold at altitude). Sunglasses and a hat are recommended.
