What You'll See
From the sky above Rustavi, the Kvemo Kartli plain stretches out in every direction — a patchwork of yellow and green fields extending unbroken to the horizon. The Mtkvari River valley cuts deep through the landscape, its banks lined with villages and farmland in alternating strips. On the city side, the outline of Rustavi — residential blocks, factory towers — creates an industrial backdrop that gives this site a distinctive photographic contrast you will not find elsewhere in Georgia.
On clear days, the first ridgeline of the Greater Caucasus appears to the northwest — a faint silhouette of peaks hinting at the high mountains beyond. Best Time to Fly
